<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image forming apparatus which can suppress occurrence of a wrinkle on a recording medium conveyed while being supported on a conveying surface even if the recording medium is wavy. <P>SOLUTION: A sheet member P conveyed by an image recording drum 36 is sucked by a suction hole formed on a guide surface 82A at a position being just before it is pressed against the conveying surface 100A by a pressing roll 70. As a result, tension (back tension) acts on the sheet member P pressed against the conveying surface 100A. Since the sheet member P to which the tension is applied is pressed against the conveying surface 100A by the pressing roll 70 successively from the leading edge of the sheet member P, occurrence of a wrinkle on the sheet member P conveyed while being supported on the conveying surface 100A is suppressed even if the recording member P is wavy. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
