<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device, an image acquisition method, and an image acquisition program which can easily adjust the transmission speed of image data to a usable bandwidth or below. <P>SOLUTION: A PC identifies the usable bandwidth 53 of a network. The PC creates coded data by encoding difference data between image data acquired from a camera and image data from a frame transmitted before, and transmits the coded data frame by frame to another PC. As the transmission bit rate of frames 41-44 is equal to or below the usable bandwidth 53, the PC sets a parameter of the automatic optimization function of the camera to a second condition (arrow 61) so that the difference data between images output from the camera will become larger. On the other hand, as the transmission bit rate of a frame 45 is above the usable bandwidth 53, the PC sets the parameter of the automatic optimization function of the camera to a first condition (arrow 62) so that the difference data between images output from the camera will become smaller. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
