PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biomolecule target detector and its detection method that actualize detection of a very small quantity of biomolecule targets.

SOLUTION: There is provided the biomolecule target detector which detects a biomolecule target by detecting a leakage magnetic field of a magnetic bead coupled to the biomolecule target, the biomolecule target detector includes: a main flow passage in which a specimen liquid including the biomolecule target and the magnetic bead flows; a sub flow passage which is connected to the main flow passage and in which a specimen liquid including the biomolecule target and the magnetic bead flows in a different direction from the main flow passage; a circuit which has a power source and an electrode wire connected to the power source and generates an induction magnetic field in the direction where the specimen liquid of the sub flow passage flows to the main flow passage and an AC magnetic field to the sub flow passage by applying a current to the electrode wire; a ligand which is provided to the sub flow passage and can be coupled to the biomolecule target; and a magnetic sensor which detects the magnetic field of the sub flow passage.
