<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeding device such as a paper supply device eliminating the effect of electric noise by performing mechanical intermittent control of driving force. <P>SOLUTION: This sheet feeding device has a structure provided with a first gear 21D transmitting torque to a pickup roller 21A, displaceable teeth 27 provided with protruding teeth 27A meshed with the first gear 21D, and a rotating part 26B rotated in conjunction with an electric motor 24, wherein the torque is transmitted to the first gear 21D via the teeth 27 when the teeth 27 are meshed with the first gear 21D by displacing the teeth 27 at a rotation period of the rotating part 26B. Because the pickup roller 21A is thereby rotated and driven at the rotation period of the rotating part 26B, the pickup roller 21A is intermittently rotated by the mechanical control. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
