<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a beveling device capable of automatically performing required beveling on an end face of a workpiece without requiring the artificial elimination of a weld bead. <P>SOLUTION: A tool rest 16 is provided with a beveling cutter 19 that is rotationally driven, and a first copying roller 23 and a second copying roller 33 which roll in contact with an outer circumferential surface of the workpiece W while abutting thereon. The copying rollers 23 and 33 can be alternately set to a projecting position coming into contact with the outer circumferential surface of the workpiece W and a retracting position separating from the outer circumferential surface, respectively. When the first copying roller 23 is at the projecting position, the center of the rolling thereof is aligned with an axis of rotation of the beveling cutter 19. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
