The present invention provides an organic light-emitting element whereby chemical stability at the interface particularly between a light-emitting layer and an electron transport layer can be improved and long-term maintenance of favorable and stable light-emission efficiency can be expected. As such, in an embodiment of the present invention, an organic EL element (1) is formed by sequentially laminating on one surface of a substrate (10) an anode (2), a hole injection layer (3), a buffer layer (4), a light-emitting layer (5), a regulating layer (6), an electron transport layer (7) and a cathode (8). The regulating layer (6) is formed with NaF having chemical stability with respect to both the light-emitting layer (5) and the electron transport layer (7), and the electron transport layer (7) is formed as a CT complex using a host material and an n-type dopant material both of which are comprised of an organic material. |
