摘要 <p>In a liquid crystal display device of the present invention, said liquid crystal display device having a configuration wherein one pixel is divided into a plurality of sub-pixels, power consumption is reduced by reducing amplitude of video signals. In each of the pixel forming sections, a capacitor (Ctr) is provided between a pixel electrode (1011) for bright display and a pixel electrode (1012) for dark display. A selection period is configured of a first charge period and a second charge period. During the first charge period, potential of a source bus line (SL) is applied to the pixel electrode (1011) for bright display. During the second charge period, the potential of the source bus line (SL) is applied to the pixel electrode (1012) for dark display, while the pixel electrode (1011) for bright display is in a floating state.</p>
