A regeneration control device for a catalyzed particulate filter is provided to prevent damage of the filter by preventing sudden rise of temperature of the filter cause due to the combustion of soot in the filter. A regeneration control device includes a catalyzed particulate filter(14), a branch path(18), an exhaust gas component separation unit(20), an open/shut control valve(22), a load detection unit(24), and a control unit(26). The catalyzed particulate filter is mounted on an exhaust path(12) of an engine(10). The branch path is branched from the exhaust path and communicated to an intake path(16) of the engine. The exhaust gas component separation unit is arranged on the branch path, and separates exhaust gas into nitrogen and oxygen components and supplies only the nitrogen component to the intake path. The open/shut control valve is mounted on the intake path and the branch path, and controls intake and exhaust. The load detection unit detects load of the engine. The control unit lowers concentration of oxygen of intake air by controlling opening/shutting operation of the open/shut control valve and prevents regeneration of the catalyzed particulate filter when the load detection unit detects overrun of the engine. |
