<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic recording head supporting high-speed data recording. <P>SOLUTION: The magnetic recorder of this invention includes a lower magnetic field coil 54 embedded in a nonmagnetic dielectric layer 55, a main pole 56 embedded in the nonmagnetic dielectric layer 55 and having a wall surface B1 inclined at the angle of about 30°, a write gap 52, a magnetic pole chip layer 71 located between the main pole 56 and an ABS, a top yoke, and a write yoke and an upper magnetic field coil covering the top yoke. The main pole 56 has a magnetic attenuation constant of ≥0.002 and ≤0.1, and has saturation magnetization of ≥24 kG. On the other hand, the magnetic pole chip layer 71 has saturation magnetization of ≥19 kG and ≤24 kG, and a magnetic attenuation constant of ≥0.1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
