<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus, etc. capable of reducing the current consumption during master unit detection processing. <P>SOLUTION: The communication apparatus operates an appurtenant unit, including: a radio section 210 that communicate signals with other communication apparatus; a master unit detecting section 220 that performs master unit detection processing to detect a master unit 10 by using at least a UW pattern included in the signal received by the radio section 210; and a control section 230 that controls the bit number of a preamble pattern used for the master unit detection processing along with the UW pattern in the preamble pattern included before the UW pattern on the basis of a master unit detection processing result by the master unit detecting section 220. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
