A seamless pipe for heat transfer tubes of cross fin tube-type heat exchangers, which is characterized in that: the material for the seamless pipe is a copper alloy that contains either 0.01-0.06% by mass of Fe or 0.04-0.06% by mass of Ni, and 0.004-0.040% by mass of P, with the balance made up of Cu and unavoidable impurities; the ratio of the thickness (mm) of the seamless pipe to the outer diameter (mm) of the seamless pipe, namely t/D is 0.04 or less; and the seamless pipe has a tensile strength (sB)of 245 MPa or more, a 0.2 proof stress (s0.2) of 130 MPa or less, and an elongation (d) of 40% or more. The present invention is able to provide a seamless pipe that has high strength and can be normally bent in a hairpin shape.
