<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide multipotential expanded mesenchymal precursor progeny (MEMP's), characterized by the early developmental markers STRO-1<SP POS="POST">bri</SP>and ALP, methods for producing MEMP's and uses of MEMP's for therapeutic applications. <P>SOLUTION: The invention provides a composition containing MPC or progeny thereof, and stimulatory factors selected from the group consisting of 1α, 25-dihydroxyvitamin D3 (1, 25D), platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF), tumor necrosis factor α (TNF-α), interleukin-1β (IL-1β), and stroma-derived factor 1α (SDF-1α). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
