<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device that can be easily put in focus on a principal subject on completion of zoom operation from a wide angle side to a telephoto side after the zoom operation by a user is received. <P>SOLUTION: A drive part which drives a focus lens drives the focus lens based upon a contrast value of an AF frame included in a first AF frame group comprising one or a plurality of AF frames among contrast values of image data generated by an imaging part when a reception part does not receive a drive instruction, and based upon a contrast value of an AF frame included in a second AF frame group including at least an AF frame having smaller area than any AF frame included in the first AF frame group among the contrast values of the image data generated by the imaging part when the reception part receives the drive instruction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
