<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positional information transmitter for pets and wild animals, which has no trouble of battery exhaustion. <P>SOLUTION: A positional information transmitter 1 which comprises a thermoelectric module 2 and a transmitter 3 is embedded in a collar 10 to be attached to pets and wild animals. The thermoelectric module 2 generates electric power by the temperature difference between a heat receiving surface 2b which receives the thermal energy from bodies of pets and wild animals and an exposed surface 2c which contacts the ambient air, while the transmitter 3 keeps on transmitting radio waves. In this way, the current location of pets and wild animals can be identified for a long period without requiring a battery, so that the positional information transmitter can be useful for searching for stray pets, an ecological survey of wild animals, and the like. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
