PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for rapidly and accurately measuring the effects of sterilization treatment such as heat treatment and chemical treatment against spores of spore-forming bacteria in real time.

SOLUTION: The method for evaluating the sterilization or the bacteriostatic action against the spores of the spore-forming bacteria includes a step of causing damage to the spores by subjecting the spores to the sterilization treatment, a step of staining the damaged spores with the fluorescent staining reagent by bringing the spores into contact with the fluorescent staining reagent, and a step of evaluating the sterilization or the bacteriostatic action of the spores. The screening methods for a sterilization condition and an effective medicament use the method.
