PURPOSE: A device for purifying the exhaust air of an engine and a transportation unit using the same are provided to increase durability by cooling the engine without changes in the engine as the coolant of a coolant circulation line is supplied for a heat exchange between a jetting unit and a reactant storage unit. CONSTITUTION: A device for purifying the exhaust air of an engine comprises a jetting unit(130), a reactant storage unit(140), a reactant feed line(151), a coolant circulation line(160), and an auxiliary coolant storage unit(240). The jetting unit jets a liquid reactant(170) to inside an exhaust pipe(120). The reactant storage unit stores the reactant. The reactant feed line is connected to the reactant storage unit, thereby feeding the reactant to the jetting unit. The coolant circulation line unit is arranged separately from the reactant feed line. The coolant circulates between the reactant storage unit and the jetting unit through the coolant circulation line. The auxiliary coolant storage unit is connected to the coolant circulation line and arranged inside the reactant storage unit.
