<p>The present invention is a method for removing boron from silicon metal, which is characterized in that a jet stream is formed in advance by changing a mixed gas of an inert gas and at least one material selected from among hydrogen, water vapor, carbon dioxide and oxygen into plasma and then a silicon metal powder containing boron is supplied into the jet stream. In the present invention, it is also preferable that at least one material selected from among water vapor, carbon dioxide and oxygen is supplied in the middle of a jet stream that is formed by changing a mixed gas of hydrogen and an inert gas into plasma.</p> |
