PURPOSE: A positive electrode is provided to prevent a structure collapse of a positive electrode active material, and to prevent the positive electrode active material from touching an electrolyte by forming an oxide in a positive electrode mixture, thereby improving the lifetime of a secondary battery. CONSTITUTION: A positive electrode is obtained by forming an oxide in a hydroxy group portion on a positive electrode mixture which comprises a positive electrode active material, a conductive material, and a binder. The thickness of the oxide is 1-50 nm. The oxide is one or more selected from ZrO2, Al2O3, SiO2, ZnO, TiO2, SnO2, and MnO. The comprised amount of the conductive material is 5-20 parts by weight based on 100.0 parts by weight of the positive electrode active material. A manufacturing method of a positive electrode comprises a step of forming an oxide in the hydroxy group portion of the positive electrode mixture. The step is conducted by an atomic layer deposition.
