<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent leakage of toner due to user's firmly gripping a cartridge, without providing a developer storage part with a rib member. <P>SOLUTION: A central recessed portion 38c provided on an outer wall surface 31c constituting a developing chamber 31D and a flexible developing sheet 18 provided to cover the central recessed portion 38c are disposed so that a user who attaches or detaches a process cartridge 7 to or from a device body 100A can put fingers on the developing sheet 18 when attaching or detaching the process cartridge 7.
