METHOD FOR PRODUCING NONWOVEN FABRIC

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a nonwoven fabric which produces a raised nonwoven fabric superior in properties for collecting dust and the like or a raised nonwoven fabric that has excellent water guiding properties and superior absorbing performance while reducing deterioration in strengh of the obtained nonwoven fabric, and also to provide a method for producing a nonwoven fabric which produces the nonwoven fabric at high speed and can reduce a cost.

SOLUTION: The method for producing the nonwoven fabric comprises: conducting raising processing for raising constituent fibers of the nonwoven fabric; and conducting local drawing processing at a plurality of portions in the nonwoven fabric that has been conducted the raising processing.
