An anti-theft device is provided which comprises a pair of flat bars 2, 3, each presenting a bent end and provided with a plurality of lateral notches 6 regularly spaced apart, a pair of cylindrical sectors 9, 10 provided at the exterior of said bars so as to form therewith a cylindrical central element, said cylinder sectors presenting a plurality of circumferential grooves 14, 15 so spaced apart as the notches of the bars, rotatable rings 7 each presenting an internal anular portion adapted to be fitted in one of said grooves of said central cylindrical element and a seat 18 adapted to accommodate in sliding relationship one of such flat bars; the components of said cylindrical element being kept in assembled position by fixed lateral bushings 11, 12. <IMAGE>
