<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a travel control device capable of making it difficult to create a vehicle waiting time. <P>SOLUTION: A travel control device 2 includes: a position and speed detection part 381 for detecting the position and speed of one's own vehicle 2 and also detecting the position and speed of the other vehicle 4; an approach position estimation part 382 for estimating an approach position A at which both the one's own vehicle 2 and the other vehicle 4 approach each other; an approach position changing part 383 for changing the approach position A to a change approach position B outside a waiting time occurrence area C when one's own vehicle and the other vehicle travel on the same lane at the same time; a travel plan creation part 384 for creating a travel plan in which one of one's own vehicle 2 and the other vehicle 4 advances into the waiting time occurrence area C after the other of one's own vehicle 2 and the other vehicle 4 travels through the waiting time occurrence area C while both one's own vehicle 2 and the other vehicle 4 approach the change approach position B; a communication unit 35 for transmitting the travel plan to the other vehicle 4; and a travel driving device 36 for executing travel of one's own vehicle 2 according to the travel plan. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
