<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular soundproof cover capable of improving attachment strength by utilizing retainers which fix a soundproof member without the need of formation of a bead or addition of a reinforcing member which causes an increase in the size, cost, the number of part items, and weight. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicular soundproof cover is comprised of: a flat-plate-like cover body 15, the flat-plate-like soundproof member 17 disposed on a first lateral surface of the flat-plate-like cover body 15, the retainers 19a provided on a plate surface of the cover body along edges of the flat-plate-like soundproof member 17 and fixing the edges of the flat-plate-like soundproof member 17 by sandwiching them, and cover attaching parts 22 which are provided at the retainers 19a and can be fixed to vehicular constituent members. By virtue of this configuration, the retainers 19 per se having excellent rigidity strength play the role as a bead or a reinforcing member for reinforcement.
