<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PWM amplifier with compensated dead-time distortion. <P>SOLUTION: A PWM amplifier includes: a PWM driving circuit that receives a PWM input signal and forms a first driving pulse and a second driving pulse with dead time; a first output element that receives the first driving pulse and causes an output terminal to output a first output voltage; a second output element that receives the second driving pulse and causes the output terminal to output the second output voltage; and a dead-time compensation circuit that detects an error pulse between the PWM input signal and an output signal formed by the first output element and the second output element corresponding to the PWM input signal and adds the error pulse to the PWM input signal to be inputted subsequently. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
