The cartridge (23) has cartridge portions (25,27) that are arranged opposite to each other, such that length of cartridge portions is adjusted. The specific portions of attack portion (39) are arranged in cartridge chamber, at which barrel of firearm is engaged to adjust against each other. The determination of length of cartridge portion is performed by measuring the barrel of firearm. The specific portions are provided with an external thread and an internal thread which are engaged with each other. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a measuring system; and (2) a method for measuring length of cartridge chamber of firearm.
