PURPOSE: A backlight unit and a display device are provided to effectively collect light received from light source modules through a second groove of a light guide plate. CONSTITUTION: A light guide plate(130) guides light emitted from light source modules(210,220,230). An optical sheet is arranged on a front surface of the light guide plate. A bottom chassis is arranged at a lower part of the light guide plate. The light guide plate includes a first groove(180) and a second groove(131,132). The first groove is formed at a bottom surface of the light guide plate according to a first direction. The optical module is arranged in the first groove. The second groove is formed in an area in which is vertically located from the first groove. A pattern is formed in the second groove. |
