PURPOSE: A harmful contents monitoring apparatus on DLNA(Digital Living Network Alliance) and a harmful information monitoring method using the same are provided to apply harmful contents blockage differently according to user accounts, thereby blocking teenagers' access to harmful contents. CONSTITUTION: A DMS(Digital media Server)(100) provides media on DLNA home network. A DMP(Digital Media Player)(200) provides a function of playing selected media by selectively controlling media on DLNA home network. A DMR(Digital Media Renderer)(300) plays contents received from the home network. A control point(400) searches and controls other apparatuses. A monitoring server(500) transmits playing harmful contents in DMR to mobile communications terminal(600) through wire/wireless networks.
