PURPOSE:To form a thin film of a single-component magnetic developer uniformly all the time, by specifying the unevenness of the surface of a developer supporting member equipped with magnets internally. CONSTITUTION:A blade 1a is provided in oppsoition to a developer supporting member (sleeve) 2 equipped fixed magnets 4 internally, thereby regulating the thickness of a single-component toner layer 3. The surface of this sleeve 2 is reoughened by bead blast treatment, which uses spherical grains, to 2-10mum unevenness pitch P while recessed parts are specified to 0.3-15mum depth (d) and 2d-5d dimension. Consequently, the staying of toner on the up side of the blade 1a is eliminated and the swelling of the toner to the down side of the blade 1a never occures. Therefore, a thin film of the toner is formed on the sleeve 2 uniformly all the time. |
