VARIABLE EXHAUST GAS VALVE OF MUFFLER EXTERNAL TYPE

PURPOSE: A variable exhaust valve installed on an outer side of a muffler is provided to prevent the generation of noise in the operation of a valve as an exposed coil spring is omitted by installing first and second leaf springs inside a pipe member. CONSTITUTION: A variable exhaust valve(100) installed on an outer side of a muffler comprises a pipe member(10), a flap member(50), and first and second leaf springs(70,90). The pipe member is installed an exhaust line. The flap member is installed inside the pipe member to be rotatable around a rotational center shaft(20) passing the center of a pipeline. The first leaf spring is connected to one side of the flap member around the rotational center shaft and connected to an inner wall surface of the pipe member. The second leaf spring is connected to the other side of the flap member around the rotational center shaft and connected to the inner wall surface of the pipe member.
