PURPOSE: A generation method of multi-track data using a plurality of codecs capable of guaranteeing correct synchronization is provided to synchronize multiple sets of data composed by different codecs with a sample unit to play the data. CONSTITUTION: An original sound source is compressed by utilizing one or more codecs including one or more tracks. A chunk corresponding to an original part sound source unit is generated. The chunk includes information for one or more information among size information or reproduction time information of a plurality of original part sound source units composing an original sound source unit of each track. Correct synchronization is possible in a multi-track sound source.
