PURPOSE: A semiconductor device having a pad pattern is provided to maintain the number of contacts in a pad pattern and surface resistance in the pad pattern. CONSTITUTION: Multiple cell patterns(310) which have a stripe shape are arranged in a longitudinal direction. A pad pattern(400) is positioned between the cell patterns. An insulating layer(340) is positioned between the cell pattern and the pad pattern. A contact area(330) is formed in the upper region of the pad pattern. A contact is formed on the contact area to electrically connect the upper layer.
