<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide laminated polyester film good in color tone with slight yellowishness, reduced in interference unevenness by external light reflection, and suitable for producing various display constitutive materials such as display components including LCD, PDP and organic EL, and also suitable to various optical applications. <P>SOLUTION: The laminated polyester film for optical use is such that at least one side of polyester film at least uniaxially oriented and containing an ultraviolet light absorber is borne with a coating layer containing an imide compound containing in the molecule an aromatic compound.
