PURPOSE:To obtain a spherical surface grinding machine capable of changing the spherical surface grinding radius by changing the angle of the tool spindle. CONSTITUTION:A tool support 17 adjusts the angle theta on a bed 1 in facing relation to a work support 3 and fastened by clamping bolts 21 and 35. In order to prevent the degradation of the machining accuracy by the vibration of a spindle driving motor 34, said motor 34 is located outside the bed 1. This permits easy alteration of the spherical surface grinding radius.
