PURPOSE:To obtain hot water of a constant high temperature by a method wherein a hole drilled in a tubular capacity variable adopter arranged in th water tank is opened and closed by the variation of the level of water in the water tank in response to the opening and closing of a valve communicating with the atmosphere so that the quantity of the water stored in the water tank is varied to correspond with the condition of insolation. CONSTITUTION:In case where a large quantity of water is to be stored in the water tank 2, the valve 16 in a circulation pipe 17 is opened so that the pressure in the water tank 2 becomes equal to the atmospheric pressure and water is supplied additionally into the tank 2 by lowering a ball tap 19 in proportion to the lowering of the level of the water in the tank 2 resulting from a supply of hot water. Thus the supplied water is stored in the tank 2 through a trap section 13 and a tubular section 14 of the capacity variable adopter 18 and when the level of the water in the tank 2 and that of the water in the adopter 18 reach the same predetermined level, further supply of water is stopped by the ball tap 19. On the other hand, in case where a small quantity of water is to be stored in the tank 2, the valve 16 is colsed and water is supplied into the tank 2 in the same manner as described above. In this case, the quantity of the water in the adopter 18 is kept increased to a level same as that of the water in the tank 2 until it reaches the hole 15 in the tubular section 14 and once the water has filled the hole 15 to make the interior of the adopter an airtight chamber, only the quantity of the water in the trap section 13 is increased to a predetermined level. |
