PURPOSE:To have a secure continuous work of an automatic machine by stretching over to a hold cutting device while the tail thread is being slack, cutting on the full bobbin side, and by releasing the tail thread immediately before the empty bobbin comes in contact. CONSTITUTION:Intermittent running is performed until a ball lifter 3 running along the front of the spinning machine 4 stops at every specified weight, and automatic tube replacement, in which a hold device 5 holds a full bobbin 2 to take off from a spindle 1 and an empty bobbin 9 is set thereon, is so carried out that first the hold device 5 holding the full bobbin 2 is lifted just over the spindle 1 and, secondly, the hold device 5 is retracted and sunk in such a way that the tail thread 10 is not tensed, to be stretched over to a hold cutting device 14, and immediately after the holding the tail thread is cut on the full bobbin side from the hold point, and the tail thread is released immediately before the empty bobbin 9 to be set on the spindle 1 comes in contact with the tail thread. Accordingly subsequent winding-up can be made securely. |
