PURPOSE: A display device is provided to improve vertical resolution of a second image by displaying left-eye image and right-eye image with first and second sub pixel electrodes in a 3D mode, respectively. CONSTITUTION: At least one first retarder unit(PL1) provides first directionality to a left-eye image. At least one second retarder unit(PL2) provides second directionality to a right-eye image. Corresponding to one of a first sub pixel electrode(SPE1) and a second sub pixel electrode(SPE2), the first retarder unit is located. Corresponding to the other one of the first sub pixel electrode and the second sub pixel electrode, the second retarder unit is located. When left-eye data voltage is supplied to the first sub pixel electrode, right-eye data voltage is supplied to a third sub pixel electrode. At this time, black gradation voltage is supplied to the second sub pixel electrode.
