PURPOSE: A video recording method of a mode changeable stereo vision system is provided to reduce the overload of the system by changing a mode of by the condition of an object. CONSTITUTION: An image analysis unit(420) decides the stop of an object based on obtained information from an image recording unit(410). If the object stands still, a mode changing unit(450) changes a mode of recording to a second mode. An image of the object is obtained through the synchronization of first and the second cameras. The image recording unit allows the first and the second cameras to record the image of the object at particular intervals.
