MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MANAGING OF TERMINAL PAGING THEREOF

PURPOSE: A mobile communications system and a terminal paging management method are provided to assign local ID to multiple MTC(Machine Type Communication) terminals and to efficiently manage trigger cycles by using a local counter synchronized with the terminals. CONSTITUTION: When a paging is requested by an MME(Mobility Management Entity)(110), An eNB(evolved Node B) transmits a trigger message for the paging to a terminal through a frame. The terminal stores the local counter and local ID received from the eNB. The terminal verifies the trigger message through a frame received from the counter matching the local counter among frames. The terminal performs the paging.
