PURPOSE: An NFC(Near Field Communication) system and a method providing a mailbox service are provided to recognize NFC tag information, to receive a message and to display the received message. CONSTITUTION: A mailbox server(300) manages a message after storing. An NFC tag(100) stores information. An NFC terminal generates a message. The NFC terminal transmits the generated message to the mailbox server. The NFC terminal transmits ID information to the NFC tag to store the ID information corresponding to the message.
