发明名称 VERTICALLY MAGNETIZED REPRODUCTION HEAD
摘要 PURPOSE:To eliminate or reduce the reduction of the effective track length by burying an electric conductor to a nonmagnetic part buried to a substrate in the direction approximately vertical to an electrode and tilting relatively both directions of magnetization and the current within a main magnetic pole. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic flux generated by the magnetization of the signal recorded to a vertical anisotropic film 10 passes through a main magnetic pole 4 for RAM and a film 9 of high permeability from a substrate 1 and returns to the film 10. The magnetization facilitating direction of the pole 4 is set at E, and the magnetizing direction in the pole 4 is set in the direction M of about 45 deg. by flowing a bias current (i) to an electric conductor 21. Therefore the magnetizing direction changes centering on 45 deg. by the variation of the signal magnetic flux. Then the current (i) can be detected by defining the variation of the magnetizing direction due to the signal magnetic flux as the variation of resistance since the currents are flowed in the direction (i) from electrodes 18 and 19. As a result, the effective track length is never reduced despite the reduction of track width.
