PURPOSE: A display device capable of playing a sound source is provided to reduce the thickness and the weight of the body of the device, thereby allowing a user to easily carry and hold the device. CONSTITUTION: A display device capable of playing a sound source includes a body(1), a manipulator(2), and a controller. The body, on at least one surface of which a film speaker(11) is mounted, is a plate. The manipulator connected to the body is equipped with a manipulating button(21). The controller is installed inside the manipulator. The controller controls the sound source to be played through the film speaker when the manipulating button is turned on.
