<p>PURPOSE: A detection device for a molten metal in an electrical furnace is provided to extend the service life of equipment using for sampling or measuring the temperature of a molten metal and to minimize the risk of a work at an electric furnace by automatically measuring the temperature of a molten metal inside an electrical furnace and sampling a molten metal. CONSTITUTION: A detection device(100) for a molten metal in an electrical furnace comprises a main body(110), a protection component(130), and a probe(120). The main body has a hollow formed inside and is pipe-shaped. The protection component is installed to wrap the end of the main body and protects the end of the main body from the high temperature. The probe is arranged in the hollow of the main body and dips into the molten metal in the inside of an electric furnace by going in and out through the main body and the protection component. The main body is provided with an attachable water cooling lance for the supply of a gas or a carburization material to the inside of the electric furnace from the side of the outside of the electric furnace. The protection component is composed of a refractory material. The end of the protection component is formed with a cone or a pyramid shape to facilitate the entry into the slag layer of the molten metal surface. The probe is at least one among a sample extractor collecting a part of the molten metal, a thermocouple and a temperature detect sensor measuring the temperature of the molten metal.</p> |
