<p>PURPOSE: An automatic thermostat system for a vehicle, a terminal device therefor, and a method thereof are provided to automatically control indoor temperatures of the vehicle by automatically converting the indoor temperatures of the vehicle into a desired temperature before the vehicle is driven based on predicted driving start time depending on the driving pattern of the user. CONSTITUTION: An automatic thermostat system for a vehicle comprises a terminal device, a control unit for a vehicle, a communications unit, an input unit, and a storage unit. The terminal device generates a temperature control signal for converting the temperature of the vehicle into a desired temperature by comparing the status information of the vehicle to the desired temperature before the driving start time of the vehicle based on the driving patterns of a user. The electronic vehicle control unit controls the indoor temperature of the vehicle by controlling a temperature control device depending on the temperature control signal of the terminal device and provides the status information of the vehicle to terminal device by collecting the status information. The control unit generates the temperature control signal for converting the temperature of the vehicle into the desired temperature by comparing the status information of the vehicle to the desired temperature before the driving start time predicted based on the driving pattern of the user.
