<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antitheft system of an apparatus capable of enhancing the convenience by easily and reliably reading information on the driving history and the troubles even when any trouble occurs in the apparatus, and preventing the apparatus from any theft. <P>SOLUTION: The antitheft system of the apparatus (a lawnmower) comprises an electronic key for storing the data for authentication, and a memory for storing information on at least any one of the driving history and the troubles of the apparatus. When the data for authentication is output from the electronic key, it is authenticated whether or not the electronic key is a normal one by using the data for collation stored in advance (S302, S304), and when the authentication is executed, the information stored in the memory is copied to the electronic key (S310, S316). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
