<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diffusion light guide body and a backlight unit which can sufficiently make an anisotropic diffusion of light from a light source. <P>SOLUTION: The diffusion light guide body 10 is composed of a transparent resin layer 12 on one side of which a zigzag wave-shaped concavo-convex pattern is formed, and a most frequent pitch of the concavo-convex pattern is more than 1.0 μm and 20 μm or less, and a ratio (B/A)of an average depth B of the concavo-convex pattern against the most frequent pitch A is 0.1-3.0. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
