The invention relates to an embodiment of an anti-chatter spring arrangement which is suitable for spot-type disc brakes, which are used primarily on vehicles but also on self-propelled construction and agricultural machines and general machines and on lifting gear and machine tools. The aim is to provide an anti-chatter spring arrangement which prevents chattering of the brake pads and of the caliper on spot-type disc brakes. The invention relates to an anti-chatter spring arrangement on a brake pad of a spot-type disc brake, which brake pad is guided in axially displaceable fashion in a recess in the brake anchor plate or in the brake caliper, with a wire spring which is held against a projection of the lining carrier plate, which projection is free of friction lining, and, at least with a spring arm supported against the brake anchor plate or brake caliper and projecting in the circumferential direction of the brake disc, holds shoulders of the brake pad radially in contact with corresponding counter-shoulders of the recess, the wire spring having two fastening windings which are arranged at a distance from one another and, for fastening on the lining carrier plate, are pushed over the fastening noses arranged on the projection free from the lining carrier. <IMAGE>
