In the case of an electrical connecting terminal (1) for printed-circuit boards (2), having a two-shell closed terminal housing (3) which consists of insulating material, having a metallic outer conductor connecting body (5) (which is arranged in the terminal housing (3)) for an electrical conductor which is passed thereto externally, and having two printed-circuit board connecting pins (9) which are electrically connected to the outer conductor connecting body (5) and project essentially vertically downwards from the terminal housing (3), higher currents can be transferred to conductor tracks on the printed-circuit boards and/or directly to components or assemblies which are arranged on the printed-circuit board in a manner which is matched to the preconditions in the case of printed-circuit boards, in that two further printed-circuit board connecting pins (9) are provided, are arranged in accordance with the hole pattern in the printed-circuit board (2) and are electrically connected to the outer conductor connecting body (5). In mechanical terms, it is particularly expedient if in each case two printed-circuit board connecting pins (9) are arranged transversely with respect to the longitudinal direction of the terminal housing (3) such that they are side-by-side in pairs, and if the pairs of printed-circuit board connecting pins (9) are arranged one behind the other in the longitudinal direction of the terminal housing (3). <IMAGE>
