PURPOSE: A cooling system for a dynamic damping member of an elevator is provided to recover the heat energy of a dynamic damping member by converting the heat energy of the dynamic damping member to electric energy in order to use the energy as the power of a cooling device part. CONSTITUTION: A cooling system for a dynamic damping member of an elevator comprises a dynamic damping member(100), an energy recovery part(200), and a cooling device part(300). The dynamic damping member converts electricity generated in a traction motor of an elevator to heat energy in order to provide damping resistance. The energy recovery part recovers the heat energy to electric energy when the dynamic damping member generates the heat energy. When power is supplied from the energy recovery part, the cooling device part is driven to cool the dynamic damping member. The energy recovery part converts the recovered electric energy to power corresponding to the driving power of the cooling device part and supplies the converted power to the cooling device part.
