<p>The paint material switching path (10) comprises two valve units (12,18), where each valve unit has an inlet (14,20) and an outlet (16,22). A hollow cylindrical intermediate piece (24) is provided, which is arranged between the outlet of the former valve unit and the inlet of the latter valve unit. A unit (28) for measuring pressure is provided in the hollow cylindrical intermediate piece. An evaluation unit (30) is provided, which detects leakage in one of the two valve units based on the measured pressure corresponding to the time course. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a color changer with multiple paint material switching paths opening into a common collecting channel; and (2) a method for determining leakage of a valve unit of a paint material switching path.</p> |
