PURPOSE: A compressor for a turbocharger in a diesel engine for a ship is provided to improve compression efficiency, and to reduce fluid friction by utilizing ceramic characteristics. CONSTITUTION: A compressor for a turbocharger in a diesel engine for a ship comprises a turbine, rotating by the pressure of exhaust gas, and a turbocharger rotating with a turbine. The compressor comprises a compressor wheel(21), a compressor hub(22), and a compressor housing. The compressor wheel is rotated by the turbine and supplies compressed air to an engine. One end of the compressor hub is connected to the other side of the rotary shaft, and integrally connected to the compressor wheel. The compressor wheel is placed in the compressor housing. The compressor wheel is made of fine ceramic which is sintered with silicon carbide, silicon nitride, titanium oxide, and titanium oxide. The cross-sectional shape of the leading edge of the compressor wheel is pointedly formed. The air inlet of the compressor housing has a filter for filtering particulate matters.
